Prose as rigorous
as your regressions.
KTS edits theses, dissertations and journal manuscripts, and advises on the econometrics behind them — from model specification to the table that ends up on page four.

The practice
Examiners notice everything. So do we.
A thesis fails on detail far more often than on ideas: an inconsistent citation style, a figure without a source, a regression whose diagnostics were never run.
KTS works at that level of detail. Every manuscript is handled by an economist who has supervised, examined and published — not routed through a queue of anonymous editors.

Submission-ready output — verified tables, figures and references
Capabilities
Four disciplines,
one standard.
Engagements are scoped individually. Most authors need two or three of the following.
Language & copy editing
Sentence-level editing that sharpens argument without displacing the author's voice. Consistency of tense, terminology and register across every chapter.
Structural & technical editing
Chapter architecture, tables of contents, tables and figures, source attribution and page numbering set to institutional specification.
Econometric consultation
Model specification advice, diagnostic testing, code and results verification — reviewed line by line before examination.
Publication support
Author-led conversion of theses into journal manuscripts, journal identification, submission compliance and reviewer responses.
Method
Four stages,
no surprises.
The same sequence applies to a first chapter and to a manuscript returned by reviewers.
Assessment
We read the full manuscript before quoting. You receive a written appraisal of what the work needs — and what it does not.
Intervention
Editing and econometric review proceed in tracked stages, chapter by chapter, with queries raised rather than assumptions made.
Verification
References, tables, figures, code and results are cross-checked against the text and the institution's submission rules.
Handover
A clean file, a marked-up file and a short memorandum of remaining author decisions. Two rounds of revision included.

The principal
“A manuscript should be able to withstand a reader who is looking for the mistake. That is the only standard worth working to.”
